If it's Hubbs, yes. If it's someone I don't know very well, probably not. I think I get more embarrassed than they do!


3. Spanx or no Spanx?
Never bought or worn a pair of Spanx.


4. Do you sleep in your sheets?
In the summer, no. I sleep on top of the sheets with a blanket. In the winter, I definitely get as many layers over me as possible!


5. What is your favorite Disney character?
Winnie the Pooh!

6. Dream vacation spot?
Fiji. Hubbs and I were longing to go there for our honeymoon, but we decided against it.


7. What is your dream job?
Graphic designer. Or a physical therapist in a really nice hopital.


8. Who is your hero and why?
My mother, she's been through a lot in life and never gives up.

1. Nissan Altima

I love my little Hyundai that I have had since my freshman year of college. It has brought me to many many places and it's cute! And I will probably keep driving it until after my student loan payments are active. But...Hubbs has been leasing Altimas for the past 5 years and I love his car!! One of these will be mine eventually!

2. A Beach House in Newport...or anywhere...

I fell in love with Newport, RI when we were on our "mini-moon" after the wedding. I don't know why, but it was a beautiful town...a big tourist town with a small town feel. I can't wait to go back and would love to live there in the summer! If not Newport, somewhere warm and tropical!

GTKY Sunday

1. If you had to choose a country to live in besides USA (or the country you live in), which would it be?

Italy!!! Great food, great wine, great sites to see, and close enough to visit the rest of Europe!

2. Which would be worse, wearing flip flops in the snow or wearing gloves in the summer?

Gloves in the summer- at least with flip flops in the snow your feet would become numb after a while. Gloves in the heat- you would just keep sweating!

3. Fried or Bake and why?

While I love fried, I try not to eat it because I know how bad it is. I usually bake.

4. If you were an entertainment reporter, which celeb would you love to interview and why?

I'm not really into the whole pop culture, which celeb is "in" thing. I would probably interview Julie Andrews. She has done so much and I find her fascinating.

5. What was your favorite book as a preteen/teenager?

Babysitter's Little Sister series, then the Babysitter's Club. I wanted to be in their club so bad!

1. What is YOUR definition of sexy?

Being confident in your presence and abilities

2. Would you rather clean up puke or change a poopy diaper?

Change a poopy diaper- I hate the texture of vomit!

3. Are you an introvert or an extrovert?

I think I am a little bit of both. I have to be an extrovert with my job- I get new patients everyday that I don't know and have to communicate and form a trusting relationship with. I can be introverted if I am in a situation where I know no one and feel awkward!

4. If you had to give up one of your 5 senses for a year..which one would you give up?

Wow this is a toughie- I'm torn between taste and smell. I agree with some previous link ups- just think of the weight you would lose!

Pie please, filled with fruit!

Rory Gilmore- small town life with a cool mom and a Yale education!

Getting to Know You Sunday

This is something I haven't done before, but I figured 'why not give it a shot?'

1.If you had 5000.00 to spend on plastic surgery what would you have done?

I would probably get bigger boobs. I would love to fit better into deep neck shirts and dresses. Although mine are Hubbs approved haha
2. Do you watch Soap operas and if so what is your favorite and why?
I do not. I'm never home during the day, and I have no interest in them whatsoever anyway!

3. Favorite clothing brand?
I don't have a favorite brand, but I do have favorite stores- Ann Taylor Loft, Express, AE.
4. An afternoon shopping spree at your favorite store or maid service for a year?
Probably maid service for a year, just so I wouldn't have to listen to Hubbs complain that he does more of the housework than I do!

5. Would you ever vajazzle?
I will shamelessly admit I had to google this...and no, no I wouldn't.

6. Favorite Disney Princess?
Umm...I haven't seen a Disney movie in forever...Cinderella.

7. Last movie that made you bawl your eyes out?
Our wedding video, if that counts!!! I haven't watched many movies lately, and what I have watched have been comedies.

8. Have you ever broken any bones and if so what?
I broke a toe in dance class doing a grand jete. I continued to dance on it for about 3 more hours after that...it wasn't pretty at the end of the night.

Hi all!!

I feel bad I haven't been blogging. I don't have many followers, but I would like to have something for them to read, and maybe get more! A few things to tide you over:

I am 2 weeks into a 10 week clinical affilation (like an internship) at my hometown hospital. It is weird to drive back to my hometown everyday, plus I know abot 50% of the people working at the hospital. I have yet to treat a patient that I know, I hope that trend will continue. The days are both physically and mentally exhausting, and when I come home I just want to lay on the couch.

We are anxiously awaiting our wedding pictures- it has been 3 weeks, but it can be up to 12 as stated in our contract. They will totally be worth it, but the waiting is killing me!!! I do have some non-professional pictures, so I will try to post a couple for you all to see.

So, it has been 3 weeks since the wedding and I haven't started our thank you notes yet! What a horrible bride I am!! But in all fairness, I have been a teensy bit busy (see above clinical affiliation.) We had extra cardstock from all the wedding projects, so Hubbs just cut it down to thank you note size. I will be making a photo collage and pasting it onto the front of the card (kinda need pictures first, though!) Hey, everything else for the wedding was a DIY projects, why should the thank you's be any different?!

Today we went to Home Depot and got paint samples. Since we built our house, the walls are painter's white. They recommend not painting for the first year to allow the house to settle and for you to fix the results of settling (nail pops, cracks, etc.) Well, it has been 14 months and I am SOO sick of the white walls!! I will post pictures of our painted rooms as they get painted.

And lastly, Hubbs and I just bought a MacBook and an iPod touch. We have strictly been a PC household forever, it is what he uses at work. However, he wants to start iPod application development so we bought the MacBook. I already had an iPod but I wanted an upgrade ;-)

I promise I will try to be a more loyal blogger. Now that the wedding is done, I hope to post more about home improvement, recipes, etc. What is your opinion on that? Please let me know!!!
